Cyber Technology Collaboration Forum |
|
Jun |
|
Mr. Smith presented CXI at a Cyber Technology Collaboration Forum hosted by the USAF Electronic Systems Center at Hanscom AFB. ESC's goal was to bring the operational user and the AF cyber R&D community together, at the O-6/GS-15 level, to expose and review cyber tech initiatives/projects for preliminary operator feedback. Specifically, it was focused on the AFNetOps execution elements (67 NWW, AFIOC) hearing what ESC, AFRL and others are working on. |

Impending Field Tests at select Federal Cyber Defense Forensic labs |
|
|
|
Cyber SPK, LLC soon to ship two
products for field tests at select
federal Cyber Defense Forensic Labs.
Tests will determine fitness for
prospective product deployment.
1. Cyber eXploit Identikit
(CXI)
(An
always-on utility operating in the
background)
CXI provides real-time digital forensic monitoring and
logging of crucial
system changes that can affect security and stability.
Select a past date then move
forward, step by step, and see every
process created or select one
process and see every child process
it creates from start to completion.
Also reports executable files
recently installed that are set to
auto-run regardless of whether they
were intended installations,
unintended installations, or hidden
malware attacks.
2. Install
Discovery+
(An
on-demand tool)
Install Discovery+ reports the details of changes made
to a system during software
installation. Unlike common
installation trackers that use
snapshots, use ID+ to tag a selected
setup file and log every process and
child process it launches and follow
it to completion providing the most
precise detail yet.
